In the 1920s and 30s, during the Golden Age when aviation was young and the American economy was in the Great Depression, people who needed to travel were very creative. Some of them hung around the old airfields and bummed rides with pilots who were going in their general direction. In the vernacular of the day (U.S. slang, now rare), these hitch hikers were called "godunks". Now you can share their stories and own some of the things they used.
